"The issue of brain deterioration has become particularly pressing in light of the fact that with the population aging, some 8 million Americans are estimated to have mild cognitive impairment--a state in which people can still live independently but don't have perfectly normal brain function. Once you have mild cognitive impairment, many scientists believe, you are at significantly increased risk for transitioning to Alzheimer's." (TUFTS UNIVERSITY HEALTH & NUTRITION LETTER) This article explores the aging of the human brain and suggests some lifestyle changes that can help keep the mind strong.
