Lathrop, an inmate at the North Central Correctional Facility, works in the Rockwell City [Iowa] prison's Industries Building eight hours a day, five days a week. But he's not complaining....In the Industries Building, inmates produce a variety of items for private businesses, performing skills like welding, machining, fabrication, and sewing."
