SIR-C, or Spacebourne Imaging Radar-C, education program is designed to teach scientific and technological skills to students in middle schools and high schools, through interaction with radar images of the earth, based on NASA's imaging radar programs, and based on radars scheduled to fly on space shuttle missions in 1994-1995. Package designed as a 2-week educational unit, 1 lesson per day.
System requirements: Macintosh, PC, SUN, or INDIGO computer, with 8-bit color display screen, at least 8 MBytes RAM, and hard disk with at least 40 MBytes disk space; Microsoft Word (5.0 or higher recommeded); CD-ROM drive; mouse.
