And on some of the farms, the hot, hard work of clearing the fields and harvesting the crop is done by boys who were sold or tricked into slavery." (MIAMI HERALD) This article probes into the problem of child slave labor in the Ivory Coast, where many boys work to harvest cocoa beans, the nation's primary export.  UNSAVORY INGREDIENT: CHILDREN SEEKING BETTER LIFE TRICKED INTO SLAVERY -- "Nearly half of the world's cocoa beans come from Ivory Coast farms, some of which use boys who were sold or tricked into slavery to raise crops."
