But there's another talk they probably haven't had: a frank discussion with their parents about financial arrangements for the end of life. Neither talk is easy, but both could avert problems later. The hard part about talking with aging parents is that they're used to being in charge, instead of getting advice from their children." (ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH) The author offers advice on broaching "the often difficult issue of finances for the end of life" and outlines some steps to help organize personal, financial, medical and legal documents.
