One of the most visible but controversial of these was the U.S.A. Patriot Act, and omnibus and lengthy piece of legislation that addressed a wide range of issues arising from the events of September 11, 2001. The Act is due for Congressional Review in 2006." (CONGRESS MONTHLY) This article examines the controversial provisions of the Patriot Act which will be up for review by Congress.
