(MOTHER JONES) This article profiles an unconventional homeless program in the United States. The Pathways program, "perhaps the most radical program for the homeless anywhere in the country" offers "apartments to homeless people--right away and with virtually no conditions." The program has become a favorite among conservatives because it is "research-driven, cost-conscious, and accountable."
