This article examines Jordan's "ambitious, five-year plan to improve public, or government, schools....This small Arab country, which has remained politically stable in a region that has frequently erupted into violence, is two years into its plan. Called Education Reform for the Knowledge Economy, its goal is to prepare young people to be competitive in the Middle East's job market."
